All I Know Is That The Girl Driving The Beer Cart Saw My Perfect Golf Swing

I was all primed to bring out my perfect golf swing recently. The temperature had climbed barely into the low seventies (which is where I hope to some day shoot...by the way) and I had just finished up my practice over on the driving range with my new beloved golf swing training aid, and I was absolutely ready.

I was not ready, however, for grandstand seating at the first tee.

The nerves were affecting the other three members of my group with such a large and often times snickering bunch of golfers waiting to take their turns. All told, there had to have been about 12 to 14 golfers just waiting, trying not to look, or, worse, to make a noise. It was packed!

And one by one the members of my foursome found the woods or the ladies tees with their tee shots. It seems the pressure really was on, and it was showing.

Well after three dismal attempts to find any remote part of the fairway...I was up. And while my knees were shaking in that I was certainly not used to this much attention, I knew that my practice at the driving range had been excellent...especially since I was now using a device that limited my mistakes.

The Perfect Connextion actually holds the arms into one another and creates a 'Power Triangle', the essence of the purest form of the swing. As the club is pulled up and back, the Perfect Connextion DOES NOT ALLOW the arms to widen out. They're locked in.

This continues to the top where a perfect turn can be made and a visual is presented as to the line of the shot, and the Power Triangle holds its shape through the downswing and contact.

Well, I placed the new ball on the tee and took about 4 practice swings and noticed that my arms were holding that triangle form throughout.

I stood over the shot. Begged for peace within myself and let fly an absolutely beautiful shot right up the mouth of the slight dog leg right.

Now it wasn't the affirmations of the other golfers that stayed with me after that gorgeous opening, it was the look of the beer girl who, having seen it all, had just seen grace under fire.

I am a happily married man. But I will never forget that look.
