Looking and Yearning for Your Perfect Job? – Or Something Better – Own Your Own Business

Most of us are taught from childhood on that good jobs (used to be job, singular but not any more) are what they should strive for as adults. Then they will be satisfied, earn good money and have a good life. But that just doesn’t cut it anymore today, does it, especially if we’ve been in the workforce for a number of years.

For many of us, something deep down inside our heart is tugging, nudging, feeling there is more. We just don’t feel complete, we don’t feel like we are contributing to society and ourselves either. We go through the motions of work, we are conscientious, work hard, but there is a hollowness, something is not complete. We yearn for more.

In my own life, I’ve experienced this situation. The past few years, the things I tried, accomplishments I achieved didn’t provide the satisfaction and fulfillment in my heart nor the monetary results I wanted. Real estate rehabbing and selling homes, other entrepreneurial business ventures. They were fun, challenging, I met great people, but they just didn’t hold my attention because there were ‘missing pieces’. Internally they didn’t feel like me.

Recommendation:
Build and grow your own business. Our yearning is to work at our purpose, feeling passionate every day. The perfect job links who we are to what we do…. it links our purpose for which we were born to our passion of what we want to do. We feel energized, experience harmony of body, mind, spirit, feel emotions of happiness, joy and peace doing what we do on a daily basis. In most cases, we expect monetary results also, which come easier when we are doing what we enjoy doing. Know that our passion can adapt and change a little or a lot because the more we do it, the more we refine and enhance it.

Through self-examination suggested and led by a coach, as well as volunteer activities I pursued, my passion and purpose has come forward. For me, it’s a return to assisting businesses and individuals as a business coach, consultant, strategist, which I truly loved doing for many years. Working with people, seeing them accomplish their goals in business and their personal lives is very fulfilling. I never tire of it.
