During my practice as a sexologist I came across quite a mysterious phenomenon of wealthy respected and beautiful women getting attached to a married man. Let's try to figure out what are the reasons of such behavior.
Why these successful and smart women settle for a surrogate relations. Some of them do realize themselves that they deserve more, but still are unable to cut these strings down.
Maybe it is the human condition; the grass on your neighbor's lawn looks greener. In addition to that, these women love challenges and dramas. The major pleasure for them is the sweetness of sin.
So, why relations with marred men seems so attractive for these women?
First of all it's all about the excitement of secrecy. Usually the dates are quick and passionate, because lovers have to hide and be careful all the time.
It is also about competition, as a women involved in a relations with a married man tries to prove that she is better than his wife. It is very flattering to know that a man risks with the happiness of his family, sometimes his children for the sake of having a one more passionate date with her.
Even if it's a pure lust for a woman, unconsciously she wants to win this competition. Maybe she doesn't wish to win the man as a husband, but the feeling of supremacy is very addictive. Once she started that race, more likely she won't stop or give up unless she would be stopped by someone.
It's not true, that these women have low moral standards. Not at all, just these standards of morality go through a perverted evolutional process in these women's mentality. That is how they protect themselves from the feeling of guilt.
For some women the attractiveness of a married man is in his sexual experience. They consider that if he has been satisfying his wife for all these years, he is definitely a great lover and knows everything about female body and sexuality.
Usually sex really proves to be amazing, but not because all married men are great lovers, but because they are bored with their wives. For some reason they can't fulfill all their sexual fantasies with their spouses but their lovers can provide them both sex and respect components.
The majority of women who are dating a married man are afraid of having a permanent stable relationship. It is easier for them this way, without any strings, promises, expectations. Such attitude towards personal life is characteristic for sociophobic females. They restrict themselves from having both positive and negative emotions, which is a kind of safety shield against the outer world. And compensate personal relations with their high social status and their successful career.
But the worst case scenario of relationship with a married man is when lust and sex develops into deep feelings, and it's even worse when just one party (usually a woman) experiences these emotions. The emotional state of a woman can get very unstable and lead to a serious problem with both her health and mentality.
Well, these relations may seem exciting and adventurous but will inevitably lead to disappointment for both sides (keep in mind the third side as well). There are exceptions for all stories of course, but think twice before getting involved in this relations are the reward worth all the sufferings both your own and those you are to cause.
